topic Making Layout Containers Work Across Screen Sizes in Qlik? in App Development

Hey Everyone,

With the Multi KPI extension being deprecated soon, I’m exploring alternative ways to create a KPI-like object using a layout container.

I have set up a KPI object along with text objects for labels. The KPI object itself has the option to switch between fluid and responsive layouts, which ensures it adjusts well to different screen sizes. However, I’m facing issues with the text objects —they don’t scale properly when switching from a 27” external monitor to a 13” laptop screen.

Please check the images below for reference. I’m looking for a way to make the entire container behave fluidly across different screen sizes, ensuring proper alignment and scaling. Has anyone successfully tackled this issue, or is there a best practice for handling such layout challenges in Qlik Cloud?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

#LayoutContainer

Have you tried replacing the text object with Text and Image object? I find those more responsive to screensizes, although not perfect.

Hey @-SW- ,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried with Text and Image Object. Its better than Text object but as you said, its not perfect. 😞
