I have a Product name filter on the selection app that I used for ODAG. I have product CD also available in the table. If the user selects product name in the app, can I use product code for ODAG for better performance.

I am using where exist to do this. so first filter the dimension table and then the fact table with Where exist(ProductNummer)

Yes, you can. You can link your Selection and Template apps using any field.
