Variable won't evaluate after clicking Variable Input button

I am using the Qlik Dashboard variable input button object to get users to choose a single date (DD/MM format). This date range varies based on the filter selections made. The date will change automatically based on the selection made.

Selecting a variable input button (e.g., 04/07), updates the value of the variable vDateSliderTrue, and then updates the map visualisation, but the variable vDateSliderTrue will no longer evaluate its expression when making new filter selections.

Did you check the format of the output after selection?

maybe wrapping the variable in '' will help
