You probably would need to backup Qlik Sense and the PostgreSQL server. Uninstall Qlik Sense. Reinstall Qlik Sense with bundled PostgreSQL. Recover contents of Qlik Sense and PostgreSQL server.

I’m curious, what’s the reason to go back to using bundled PostgreSQL?

Standalone PostgreSQL is essentially the same thing but it gives you more flexibility and control over when you can upgrade it and it gives you more control over which version of PostgreSQL to upgrade to. We don’t have that flexibility with bundled PostgreSQL.

Not only that, but if you go back to bundled PostgreSQL and then will need to upgrade it, you’ll need to use the QPI tool which will unbundle it again.

Dear Experts,

We have unbundled our postgres using QPI and now we are running standalone postgres for our reposiroty.

We also need to know, if we want to get this back to bundled then how can we configure it back ?

Back when I ran this upgrade, I had this saved in case of a need to roll back:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaqB6Umg2SU&t=819s

Not sure if it's applicable to "re-bundling" at a later date, though.
