Let users see their own data when they login in dashboard

Hi everyone,

I have a dashboard where I want to restrict employees from viewing other employees’ data. For example, when an employee opens the dashboard, they should only be able to see their own information.

Could you please suggest the best way to implement this?

This can be done through a concept we call Section Access which includes a security table in the Script. Here is the link to the description n Qlik help:

As Lisa_P writes, Section Access is the recommended path forward for this.

The details on how you set up your section access table varies a little depending on if you are using QlikView, Qlik Sense on-prem or Qlik Cloud. The principle on what it does is however the same in all three environments.
