topic Qlik maps updates in App Development

Hi everyone,

I am encountering an issue with the native map visualization in Qlik Sense: the recent administrative changes to Italian provinces — specifically the restructuring in Sardinia effective from January 1, 2026 — are not being recognized.

In my data model I have updated the province codes/names for Sardinia (e.g., Medio Campidano, Gallura Nord-Est, Sulcis-Iglesiente, etc.), but when I use these as a dimension in a map (Area Layer / Choropleth),
the new provinces are not colored or mapped correctly. It seems like Qlik’s internal map boundaries do not include the updated provincial borders.

I wanted to ask:

Does Qlik have an official schedule or process for updating administrative boundaries and geo-maps, especially for provinces?

Is there any information on when the Italian province changes (including the Sardinia updates effective 1/1/2026) will be reflected in Qlik’s native maps?

If there is not yet support, does Qlik offer a roadmap or recommended approach for staying up to date with geopolitical/administrative changes?

Thanks in advance!
