how to get metadata info from Qlik Cloud app

Hi Everyone,

I do have requirement like we need to fetch the metadata information like dimensions used in UI ,expressions in UI like other things from each sheet and objects from QlikSense app.

We need to create an app in Qlik Cloud which fetches metadata information as mentioned above from all other apps present in Qlik Cloud.

Dis anyone come across this scenario ? how we can proceed to work on this?

You might want to take a look at Qollect, a Qlik Sense extension I built for exporting app metadata. It supports Qlik Cloud and can extract sheets, objects, dimensions, measures, expressions, and field usage directly from the UI. It could be a good fit for what you’re trying to achieve at the app level.

@rjyadav94 for cloud we don't yet have a metadata analyzer app from Qlik. You can create your own using API or qlik Automate as per your requirement. There are few publicly available automation template online that need customization to fit your exact case. I recently used automate for similar requirement in my org. I used blocks like, list spaces->list apps->list sheets->list objects on sheet . Then list measures and further and deeper
