I have tried to setup a basic case using Qlik Sense for Desktop targeting our CDH using the Impala ODBC.

I tried to follow this : How-to: Do Real-time Big Data Discovery using Cloudera Enterprise and Qlik Sense | Cloudera Engineering Blog

But I get :

The following error occurred:

SQL##f - SqlState: S1002, ErrorCode: 10670, ErrorMsg: [Cloudera][ODBC] (10670) Invalid descriptor index, descriptor record does not exist, or is not properly initialized.

We are considering the use of Qlik Server with our Hadoop cluster on Hybrid mode (in-memory + DirectDiscovery) but it is hard to be convinced..

Is there ANY tutorial, post that explains how to do a DirectDiscovery using Qlik Sense?
