Hello All,

Can you please suggest how to perform ad hoc reporting in qliksense, as i can not see conditional enabling for dimensions and expressions in qliksense. Can you please share an example

I don't think Sense can do an ad-hoc report similar to a QV ad-hocreport using conditional dimensions and expressions. It may be possible with some inline loads and properly constructed calculated dimensions and expressions, or else via an extension, if a suitable one exists.

the ad hoc reporting is where qliksense differs then qlikview

all you need to do is to create in the master items the measures and dimensions you want the user to use

then you build the basic view for the report

from there the user just drag and drops the dimensions and measures he want to use into the table

basically you can allow the user to change every chart and table with out any additional development work

Hi deepak,

Yes we can give permissions to users in server level, but not by the Section access in qilkview we do.

yes it is,

this trick i always used to make a report that i want. just drag and rop from master item.
