Download the original xls in Qlik Sense

Hi All!

Is there a way to download the original xls from Qlik Sense (Server Edition 1.1)?

I know the option Export data, but I would like to download the original, because of it's format (color, rowspans, colspans etc.)

No, that's not possible. The orginal xls is not stored. Only the data from the xls is loaded, processed and stored in the internal database.

The "Attach data files" bullet point (https://help.qlik.com/sense/2.1/en-US/online/#WhatsNew/What-is-new-21.htm ‌), means different I guess. Is this point related to data load editor?

The attach dat files option is just an easy way to load data into an app on the qlik server. It's an alternative way to make a data source available to an app.

I don't know what it was like in 2015.

Today you can find the attached files as I explain below.

Go to https://server/qmc/servicecluster

The path will be what appears in "Static content root folder"..+\AppContent\<APP_ID_GUID>

I hope this information can be useful to everyone who still needs it. 😎
