Can QVF be reduced like qvw?

It depends:

You cannot "keep selected data" in the app as it was done in QlikView.

But you can clean all the data (open the app without data) and save it this way.

Or you can use loading options ("where" clauses, SECTION ACCESS (aka Dynamic Data Reduction), etc) to minimize your file.

Hi Swarup

You can always do a limited load in the data loader, see below screen shot. But as mentioned by Vlad, the QlikView option is not available in QS.

1: Open the data loader

2: Click the debug button (top rh corner)

3: At base of screen you will see the Limited Load option, tick it and then set the rowcount to load from your source data

4: Hit the play button and the load will start
