Is there a function which helps to add a field from table A to Table B, whereby Table A and Table B have 1 field in common.

example:

Table A: Employee ID, Age

Table B: Employee ID, Name,

Final result: Table B: Employee ID, Name, Age

You should be able to achieve what you want either using JOIN or APPLYMAP in your script.

Have a look at Don't join - use Applymap instead and the referenced doc.
