Unable to add second dimension to a Combo chart

Due to current limitation (no custom color option on Bar/Combo Charts) I need to add a second dimension to the charts to handle the issue.

It is working on Bar Charts, but not on Combo Charts.

It's creating a serious issue with my clients.

Any suggestions how to handle it?

If colour is the overriding concern how about trying this.

Create your bar chart and use the method documented to switch between view in the same space using the qsvariable extension.

I assume you can build your colour setting condition on expression so should switch using the same technique.

Its not a combo chart but goes someway to solving your issue without splitting out and taking away valuable screen space.
