Hi all,

i need to send some data from qlik sense dashboard to users mail id based on request. please let me know any way is it is possible, without using N printing or any other payed tool.

Simple answer is no. If you are using

Desktop manual distribution of reports is required.

Server you have automated data load and access to Apps is controlled from their either through a link in an external site or users logging in directly.

NPrinting is the tool exactly designed to handle your requirement but is only just coming out with a Sense version in the past its been only for View.

They will not allow that kind of functionality available to you for free.

‌yes but again this was an ADdin to server so had to purchase separately.

‌So you will also need nprinting version for sense when it's out to deliver Thatt functionality you won't get it for free.

Contacting Qlik regarding N-Printing will help your cause. N-Printing has recently been acquired by Qlik.

.. we dont want to buy n printing.. anyway we achieved this by creating extension, .net program , windows scheduler.

our extension will create pdf in a folder, from there .net console program will fetch record and sends based on the role matrix defined.. windows scheduler will make sure this program scheduled on our need..

Writing your own app to sit along side Qlik Sense is a viable solution but will satisfy a limited use case which may or may not be sufficient.

I guess you have to way up the design/development/testing and support cost and availability of resources to build your own Vs the cost having a ready built component that will satisfy more business use cases and will be maintained into the future as Sense develops.
