How to load application with pre selected data

Hi all!

First sorry for my English.

I have need to load application with pre selected data.

I've a column with period from 12/2014 to 07/2016 and i need to load app with 2016 year pre selected, but the user can change this selection.

How do i do it in Qlik Sense?

Hey Marcelo,

It is currently not possible to use preset filters in Qlik Sense. The commonly suggested work-around is to use Set Analysis (which I find suboptimal in many cases). Here are a few threads where this has been discussed:

Thanks for your answer Henri.

But in my case, we needed to filter data used in all dashboards of app and period isn't a measure.

Actually i used an extension named ApplySelections that was suggested for Suzuki our partner. However this extension use bookmark for doing a trigger. Now i need to define in bookmark preriod as Year(Today()) instead of '2016' fixed for example.
