Qlik View can plot chart with out dimension , How to make Qlik Sense also can ?

with the help from a lady Tracy.

It manage to make the chart 1 work in Qlik view.

When i try to plot in Qlik Sense , it does not work.

Hope some one can advise me.

Hi,

I dont think its possible at this moment with default visualization.

If you are ok with coding you can create your own Extension which can do that.

Take help from Branch.Qlik.Com

Hi Paul Yeo,

In Business Intelligence, two charts are there which has no dimension, first is KPI and Second is Gauge and both are available in Qlik Sense . Now Can you please tell me what type of visual you are expecting , In my understanding 6 BI tools has these only two charts.

Hi Rohit

I am trying to plot the below chart with out dimension. I have using KPI simple a lot , they have bar chart , but the bar chart need to create from normal bar chart which need dimension. I also try to search for guage chart in Qlik branch , i notice that the guage are like car speed meter. which is not so suitable.

Hi Paul,

Please try this,

You have a column lets SGD, Duplicate this SGD to SGD2 column in scripting and select Bar chart and Select SGD as DIM and sum (SGD2) as measure , you will get this result.
