So, a particular filter can allow for either be AND or OR based selection. If you use the method specified in the blog above, you should be able to allow your user to do an AND based selection.

This image from the blog shows AND and OR based selection

One at top is showing just one bar because its the only one which includes A, B and C skills. Whereas the one at bottom is showing all places where either A or B or C is one of the skills.

Does that make sense?

Hello everyone!

So I have been working with qlik sense for a while now, and I know that the default behavior of qlik is an OR operator when it comes to selections, right? Can anyone tell me how to use "AND" operator when it comes to filter panes.

Thanks!

Assume we have a list of companies, each company can have activities from the list A, B ,C.

Company1 has activities A and B

Company2 has activities A

Company3 has activities B and C

Company4 has activities A, B and C

now if I have a filter pane and I select A and B, Qlik will count all of the above companies right? since the default behavior of Qlik is OR. Now I'd like to teach the user who to make an "AND" operator selection, so if he/ she selected A and B only Company1 and Company4 should be counted.

Thanks for your help!
