I'm trying to develop a polygon map for Portugal.

I already have a .kml file with all the portuguese administrative areas (attached). I've tried to reduce the detail of the areas to 1 decimal but still I get the "Hypercube results too large" error.

Can you please test with the file attached to try and create a map? Am I missing something?

Greetings,

Andre Costa

That file is still pretty big, my guess is that it's not just high precision that is the problem, but sheer number of points defining each shape.

Try following this guide to reduce number of points: How To Convert Shape File to KML for Qlik Sense Using GDAL . It worked pretty well for me.
