Pivot table Null Value

Greetings Community,

I am having an issue getting a pivot table to give me the most recent status depending on a update_date as you can see it is return a null value.

(I have added the "count of status" for validation.)

This is how it looks outside of a pivot table and into a straight table.

I need the pivot table to somehow only pull the most recent status depending on the update date.

Any thoughts?
