Qlik Sense parameter question

Hi guys

I have a Qlik Sense server setup and I can pass arguments to my app just fine via additional parameters in the URL by adding "&Select=Country,United States" or "&Select=Country,France" to the end of the URL. This works just fine.

Now what I'd like to find out is if I can pass another type of field selection. I have a field called Period and in a list box selection I can type in "> 1/1/10 < 1/1/17" which would give me between 2010 to 2016... how would i do this in the parameter at the end of the URL?
