Qlikview Trigger Mechanism

I am currently writing a trigger mechanism for my Qlikview schedule and need my script to continue running until the trigger file has been altered.

I am trying to set up a trigger mechanism based on the data base load completion, how do i achieve that.

I have a date field in the data base table which gets updated when the table is reloaded.

Has anyone got any ideas how to overcome this?
