Column limit loading data from Excel

I have an XLSX spreadsheet that has ~1000 columns. When I try to load this into Qlik Sense it gives an error message. I understand I will likely have to break this up but I want to know if there is a limit so I can keep that in mind.

I know SQL imports have a limit of 255 columns. Does Qlik Sense have the same/similar limitation?

Hi Jared,

Just used the attached file and gave me no error here.

I believe the limitation will be the same as Excel.

1.048.576 rows X 16.384 columns

But i've never encountered situations like that from Excel files.
