I get this error message while converting a QVW document to Qlik Sense App:

"Conversion service error."

Hi Rajesh,

Do you get this error when trying to convert any QVW document, or is it a specific QVW that is failing?

What version of Qlik Sense are you running?

Hi Rajesh,

Is it possible for you to try this on a later version of Qlik Sense?

There has been a lot of improvements made to Converter Tool in later releases of Qlik Sense, both for Desktop and Server.

1- Reduce the data on QVW file as much as possible. Even better: drop all data. (File > Reduce Data > Remove all values)

2- Save the file in a new path with a new name.

3- Remove any macro on the module

4- Close your QlikView Local Client and make sure it is not runing in the background.

None of these things should impact the usage of the migration tool, but in my personal experience I haven't had any issues after doing those steps during a massive migration. (must of the QVWs were migrated just by drag and drop, others had to follow these steps)
