Logging Into Sense Desktop when offline

Can the Sense Desktop be assessed within an internet connection?

I've been asked by a cloud business user if this can be done as he often travels and is sometimes in a location without internet access. He would like to download an App and be certain of having access using the private edition

We now need to log in to access the Apps

probably it was solved, actually sense desktop allows login directly when offline (no login screen visible) within 10 days since last network connection, after 10 days then you have to login once connect internet.
