Hi,

I am constantly getting this error when trying to save a app. It seems to work to save 1 or 2 changes after reboot but then I start getting the errors again. I am using June 17 sp2. I was using June 17 with no patch level but decided to try and upgrade

Any Ideas?

Hi Sumit,

Yes well I dont know if I solved it but, after a total reinstallation of my machine things are back to normal. I had tried more or less everything else I could think of. I did not contact qlik suppert though, have you tried that?

Would be great to have an understanding of why this is happening and a fix with out having to reformat your windows machine.

I think solved the issue.

It happened for me when my i ran out of storage.

The trick was to

open the app without data
insert a [space] somewhere in the load script and save the app. The size went down to 0.13MB
free up storage on the hard drive
reload the app

Hi All,

I still having the issue.

recently I have migrated my -3.1 SR5 Shared persistence- QlikSense site from machine A to B.

I have back up and restore the repository DB from A to B.

Migrated the (A) /QlikShared/... folder to (B)

now I can see the mirror of QS site A in B.

I can see all the app,Data connections and can work with the sheet.

when I reload the script I am getting this 'The object could not be read' error.

When I create a new app and reload it works fine.

How do I fix this issue.

I just had the same issue.

After searching the community a bit and taking a 5 minute break, I tried to save "one last time" and it worked again.

No explanation though, but it seems to work again.
