Open url by specifying the browser (IE or Chrome)

Hello all,

I'm stuck since few days on a button that has to open an url.

From this point it is working but I want to go further and specify to open the url with a specific windows application, in this case google chrome.

Did anyone do that in the past or have some idea to realize this action.

By using the AJAX client you couldn't choose the browser - it will be always the in windows defined standard-tool. This meant you could change there the used browser. By using the desktop client or the IE plugin you could try it with an action (launch application with appropriate parameters) or a macro.

I'm using Qkik Sense Desktop.

What do you mean by "launch application with appropriate parameters"?

I have to write parameters in the script to specify that all open website action should open the url from chrome?

Is it correct?

Oh, sorry I didn't notice that you want to apply this with Sense. There I don't know but I think it could be realized with an extension.
