Search around 500 materials code (alphanumeric) and filter in presentation layer in Qliksense ?

Hi all ,

I have a Qliksense app created , and published to business users .

A business user want to filter his materials (around 500-1000 materials) from the qliksense filter .

As Qliksense sense filter has character length limitations , user cannot copy paste his material codes in filter box and filter

Even the app does not have material categories dimension to filter the materials .

Do we have any work around for this requirement .

Can anyone help me in this ?

The user can try making the complete selection in smaller batches. Enter a set of codes and select them. Then enter the next set and add them to the selection, etc.

possible ways to achieve the scenario
1) As Gysbert suggested, try with little chunks of materils.
2) Check any patterns in Material Names/ Material ID.
3) Check the possibility of filtering the materials by time(dates/ age), production units, Country etc..

If possible, make changes(create groups) to the dashboard and publish the dashboard again.
