Retry Failed jobs

Hi, I have a scheduled job which runs once a day. If it fails for some reason I suppose there is no setting to retry(like we have in qlikview).
Is there any way by which we can automatically trigger task for say 3 times only?

isn't that what the "max retries" setting does?

When a task fails, it could happened based on a load script or environment requirements. Max retries will try to re-run the task if server doesn´t have resources available.
But, based on load script errors, doesn´t matter run 3,5 or 10 times. The error code must be fixed
