Trigger Based on Selection

Is it possible within Qlik Sense to create a trigger or similar, where if a user searches for a field and selects that field, another field is selected as well?

EventCode EventCodeAvail

18ABCFEB23 18ABCFEB23

In this scenario, the user would select / search for the EventCode of '18ABCFEB23' and once that selection is made, also select the field of EventCodeAvail and the same string of '18ABCFEB23'. The fields are in two separate tables and I cannot link on that field due to the structure of my script.

You need extensions.

there maybe a few free ones but i am not sure. Paid options like vizlib does have the option
