Direct Discovery Issues with QlikSense Nov 18 - DataBase Connection Failed

Hi,

I am working on a model with Direct Discovery in Qliksense.

I have a simple table in SQL server which needs to be called when the query / selection is made. if not by default the data should be updated in the application.

Note: All the fields in the table are mentioned under Dimension only , I have no measure or details columns in my data.

I have used the pre defined variable - SET DirectCacheSeconds= 15 ; to clear the cache.

The objects that I have in my application are

1. KPI object - Shows the total Records.

2. Table Object - Shows the total records in detail.

Now, I have two issues.

1. When a new record is updated , The KPI object only gets updated while Table is not getting updated , until a manual reload is made.

2. When filter selection is made , "DataBase Connection Failed" error msg comes on the KPI object and Table object is shows nothing.

Kindly suggest your expert advice on the same.
