Select from multiple fields with a single filter pane

Hey everyone,

I am currently working on creating a app gathering data from multiple data sets. A common filter applicable to all of those data are the country as they each store an alpha_2 country code . However, if I create a filter pane based on the country code on one of those table, it will only filter this table and not the other one.

My goal is to filter all of those table using a single filter pane.

I was thinking that I could create a filter pane listing all the different countries. Whenever one is selected, it would also select all the related country code in the different country data table. I tried doing so by mapping the country code to a small table listing all the country code and the associated countries, but I could not figure out how to select multiple data from a single field.

Is there any way to do what I am trying to do ?

I tried using Table and fields functions such as GetFieldSelections without success. What should I look into ?
