    <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to use the Alternate States as a dimension and I cannot find a way to do it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My problem is pretty simple:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to create a bar chart where to compare the data from the same location before and after a test (see below).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to have something like&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;IF (Alternate state = 'Before', 'This bar', IF(Alternate state = 'After', 'Another bar')&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have to say that adding it to the measure is not an option as the table is Stacked and I have multiple measures.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As a workaround, I'm loading data with an additional column (before or after) but it is not an elegant solution and it takes time all every time I want to compare another location.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="The graph I want to build up" style="width: 491px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.qlik.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/11324i76ED86F4B7C3448E/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="Capture.PNG" alt="The graph I want to build up" /&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-caption" onclick="event.preventDefault();"&gt;The graph I want to build up&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
