Alternate States as Dimension

Dear all,

I'm trying to use the Alternate States as a dimension and I cannot find a way to do it.

My problem is pretty simple:

I want to create a bar chart where to compare the data from the same location before and after a test (see below).

Is it possible to have something like

IF (Alternate state = 'Before', 'This bar', IF(Alternate state = 'After', 'Another bar')

I have to say that adding it to the measure is not an option as the table is Stacked and I have multiple measures.

As a workaround, I'm loading data with an additional column (before or after) but it is not an elegant solution and it takes time all every time I want to compare another location.
