Incorrect date format when Export to Excel (date column format is general)

Hi qlik community,

I face an issue export to excel in qlik sense. The date format in excel is general and I'm unable to filter it unless format the cell in excel spreadsheet. I have converted the date field to Date([Date1],'M/D/YYYY') as Date1 but still hit the same issue when exported to excel. Appreciate if you can provide feedbacks and suggestions to resolve this. Thank you.

It could be a known bug. Which version of Qlik Sense are you exporting from?

Qlik did a couple of Excel export format related bugfixes in the February 2019 release.

I have exported the data to excel and found that there is now problem with the Date Format “MM/DD/YYYY. I am on version Qlik Sense Desktop April 2019 13.21.1.

I suggest you update to the latest version and try to export again. You can see the export results in the attachment.
