topic Median Total Table Chart in App Development

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to figure out how to create a Median column that would show the true Median in the Total Function, but Sense only offers "Auto", "Avg", "Count", "Max", "Min, "Sum", and "None". Unfortunately these options do not give the correct Median.

The table chart that I'm working with have customers with their Move In Dates. I have a column that calculates the Duration by taking the vMaxSelectedDate - Move In Date and this works fine when I choose "Avg" for Total Function. However, Median is giving me problems. In the expression, I'm using Median(vMaxSelectedDate - Move In Date), which when looking at individual customers, the Median is the same as Duration, but I'm focusing on the Total number at the top of the chart.

Picture below shows Median Total of 507 but should be 455.

I thought perhaps just creating a KPI chart would work, but using the expressions above, give me incorrect data.

Can someone help me out? First time posting here 🙂
