Select bar sort order

We are using Qlik Sense April 2019 Patch 1, qliksenseserver 13.21.2

Looking at the illustration below, the filter contains the year/month sorted in descending order yet the select bar list for the same filter shows the selected value at the top and the rest in ascending order.

Is there any way to ensure the values in the select bar list appear in a particular order?

Did you change anything to the sorting?

Because when you load your field and keep auto sorting on, this is what happens for me (though it's June release):

Did another test, check the numeric sorting. When I change this to Descending I get the same results:

I think that you are confirming the issue in your second example. The sort order that is set specifically (auto being switched off) is not applied to the select list.
