Chart Not Sorting Chronologically

Hi all,

The chart I created won't sort by MM/YYYY order. Sometimes it groups the month (7/2019,7/2020, 8/2019, 8/2020..) other times it seems random. I tried to sort it with the different Sorting on the charts and even tried to load a "sorting" key (1, 2, 3...) and sort ascending by that but with no luck.

It also seems like the data loads out of order even if I load it in order. Any suggestions?

My first thought would be to check the format of your month year field. Make sure it is date

Yeah, the data shows it is registering as a date and is in the MM/YYYY format.

in the Data model it says date?
