topic Unable to split a field in Data Manager in App Development

I am working with table definitions in the Data Manager, for data imported from a comma-delimited text file.

Some fields contain 0-n URLs (separated by semi-colon), and I would like to have at most one URL per field.

The Split function is ideal for this, of course. However, the problem is that the rows that actually have a second semi-colon are so far down, that Qlik Sense does not find them to include them in the sample rows that I am permitted to use to define splitting.

There needs to be a search function to be able to find such rows, as well as the ability to specify the delimiter without reference to a sample row.

René Valencourt
