How do we create a delay for tooltips?

Greetings, Readers,

Our group is looking to create a series of tooltips in the interest of reducing documentation around explaining various aspects/calculations in our QS application. Along these lines, in having descriptions on hover immediately available, the screen can feel cluttered from a user perspective.

Is there a function to set delays available or in development, to allow for a fixed delay before displaying tooltips? If the latter, is there a workaround available in the interim? If neither, the same.

Even a 1 second delay would make the app feel much more professional.

Yes, it is possible to adjust the tooltip delay in Qlik Sense. You can do this by using the 'tooltip.delay' property in the Qlik Sense theme or by using a custom theme.
