Qlik Sense 2018 and later - Alternate States Advanced Functionality Questions

Hi everyone,

I have an app with several sheets titled 'Analysis 1, Analysis 2, Analysis 3'. Each sheet has a corresponding Alternate State (also named 'Analysis 1, Analysis 2, Analysis 3'). The Alternate State is set at a Sheet level, and all charts within the sheet have their Alternate State set to 'inherited'. This is working as expected.

However, I would like the user to be able to use the Qlik Sense 'Smart Search' feature on the standard navigation bar to make selections in dimensions. When I use Smart Search, the selections are only applied to the Default State.

Is there any way to specify which Alternate State the Smart Search applies to?

Is there any way to Copy the Selections in one Alternate State to another in Qlik Sense?

I am also interested in the possibility to specify the alternate state for the smart search feature. Have you found a way how to do it?
