Pivot Table without Measure

Hi,

I am trying to build a Pivot with Columns like Year, Employee Name and Department Name where Status ='Y' .

This works on Table, But, Pivot Table does not seem to Display this Info.

I would want to use a Pivot so that Year and Emp Name does not Repeat itself.

Attached is the sample Doc for Reference.

Please let me know how this could be done

It seems to be a good trick but, does not give the feel of a Report..

So can we do something else?

I agree with you, The pivot table purposly used to be

1) To show the aggregate records

2) Transpose Column to Row

3) Full accumulation

4) Comparision b/w Day-day values etc.

Sure, But is there any other visualization to depict this kind of Data.

I mean how else can we depict this data with a good readability? any suggestions?
