I need to build a line chart for four years data.

Measure is the orders count. I need to separate the years (2016, 2017,2018,2019) from the orderdate and plot four lines ranging from January to December.

I'd suggest creating flags in your load script for each year, then using set analysis to create a measure of each order count by year. You can then add the yearly measures to your line chart as individual lines.

Or you can create a Master Calendar

And putting your Measure as Order Count and Dimension as Year.

1st Dimension: Month

2nd Dimension: Year

measure

This will give the separate line for each year
