Add hyperlink to a sheet

I have an application where I need to add a hyperlink to the top of a sheet. The link will change by the user, so the URL is stored in a variable.

I thought this would be easy, but I am not finding a way to add a hyperlink to the page with the URL not being static.

It appears that you can apply a link to the text/image chart, but it does not appear that the link can be set to use a variable. Also, the requirement is that the hyperlink is shown as text and not a button.

Has anyone been able to add a simple text hyperlink where the URL is passed in a variable?

Found that the button allows you to select the style of a link - This works for what I need.

Under style select > button theme> select bootstrap v3 and then set the Bootstrap v3 style to link.
