Hello,

I'm using a bar diagram and it contains the Dimension which is my Serialnumbers and as KPI I'm using the Average Weight aggregation. Other than that I also using the Date picker to chose all Serialnumbers of a specific timerange.

The bar diagram will sort the Serialnumbers automatically in ascending order. In another table which is connected with the main table, I have a timestamp of the Serialnumbers workers scanned to record every Serialnumber. Instead of Serialnumber ascending or descending I want the Serialnumber sort by Timestamp of that table. It of course doesnt work to set the date as a alternative dimension in the bar chart. It will mix up everything and that way it always add another time filter additional to the one I already picked in the Date picker when I click on it, since the dimension is set on timestamp, instead of just filter the serialnumbers I chosed from in the bar chart.

I hope it was still understandable.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Lisa,

thank you very much for the quick reply.

As I said I tried this variation before. I think what you mean is that I can use the timestamp/date as an alternative dimension and sort after that in the control panel. But if I would do that, the bar chart isnt sorting the dimension of the serialnumbers by dates, but sorting it according to the dates with the serialnumbers creating on these dates. This way it also influence my filter. Since the timestamp becomes a dimension the filter will be activated when I click on it.

I know its hard to make myself understood. But maybe you know what I mean now. Maybe someone knows the solution I'm looking for.
