I forgot updating how I solved this. The culprit was an extension called QlikSense-Sheet-Styler-Lite-master, which was invisibly embedded in one of my sheets. I'm probably the one to blame as I didn't check for updates to the extension. I didn't have any need for it any longer so I just removed it an no more crashes since! 🙂

Well, this never happened before. I was just previewing my dashboard and all of a sudden (while the dashboard was loading) the Qlik Sense Desktop window disappeared! No errors, no warnings, nothing.

I'm using version April 2020 patch 1 (13.72.4) and Vizlib with KPI Designer 1.8.0.

In the System_Engine log I found these lines that may be applicable:
<LI-CODE lang="markup">INFO	20200526T112733.211+0200	1408	12844	Internal\Engine	default	0 20200526T082512.000+0200	StdServer: OnRemoteClosed entered for socket 127.0.0.1:9076 <-> 127.0.0.1:56501, user: Personal\Me, app: .
INFO	20200526T112733.211+0200	1408	8504	Personal\Me	default	968f33a2-0f42-42cc-b126-0e4a53f9a496 20200526T082512.000+0200	Session stop reason: Socket closed by client</LI-CODE>
The Windows Event Viewer came up with the following:
<LI-CODE lang="markup">Faulting application name: QlikSenseBrowser.exe, version: 8.0.2.0, time stamp: 0x5e393abf
Faulting module name: Qt5Core.dll, version: 5.7.0.0, time stamp: 0x575a690a
Exception code: 0xc0000005</LI-CODE>
I should probably also mention that it is connected to Qlik Sense Hub within my organisation.

My latest changes weren't saved but luckily I click that 'Save' button quite often.. whew! 😅 Hereby a quick feature request: auto save please!
