I'm currently working on a project where we are getting a single table to be turned into a report. The fields include a contract code, the parent contract code, and the child contract code(s). We are trying to show the data in a hierarchical manner as a table, similar to how Excel can include plus signs to the left of the data. We have tried several different methods, including pivot tables, drill down dimensions, hierarchy and ancestor tables, and even just multiple tables to try to get this right. Nothing quite works. Has anyone else had to do anything like this?
