How to exclude the filtered values from the selections on whole dashboard

Hi everyone,

I have a requirement from the business stakeholders like to exclude only the selected values from the filter on the whole dashboard

i.e lets say i have filter called "EXEMPT" ,it has values like Labour day, Pandemic, Year ending ...etc(These are holiday list or any office closure event days) . I have another table (main fact table which contains sensor data with every day date)

The main idea is to exempt the selected dates from the analysis on whole dashboard

if user selects the Labour day (01-05-2020 has to get excluded from the dashboard on all the charts or kpi's, similarly if user selects pandemic, it should exclude the respective dates (16-03-2020 to 24-04-2020 on the charts ))

i have done back end mapping, but i dont find any perfect solution to implement this on the dashboard .Can any one help me with this

Note: we have a option to select the alternatives in the filter, but my business stakeholder doesn't like that as it is not a good option for end users
