    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Qlik Community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am looking to understand more on the behaviours of Pivot Table:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;My Pivot Table is built with two dimensions(One parent to many children with many parents) and measure is defined with the formula of Count(child). In addition to this, I also used Pivot Table’s background colour expression to determine the colour for both dimensions. Is the parent’s background colour a summation (or roll up) of the children’s background colour expression ignoring the parent’s background colour expression?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;If yes, how can we prevent the parent dimension’s summation calculation from happening?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please refer to the picture below for better illustration.
