topic What determines if Rim (failover) node becomes the Central Node? in App Development

Hello,

We are setting up a high availability QlikSense environment and had a question about the failover of the central node.

What dictates whether a failover will happen and the Rim node takes on the Central node role? For example is it when any one of the servers goes down it automatically fails over, or is it dependent on specific services that fail/shut off? Is there any external factors?

Thank you

Exactly, If some service or server is doing something weird it will load only on central node. But, If you have some OKTA information used like Proxies, That will turn off.
