Noted on Feb 21 Release. in App Development https://community.qlik.com/t5/App-Development/Widgets-being-deprecated-How-should-we-replace-Noted-on-Feb-21/m-p/1782873#M60959 <P>I just saw on the Feb 2021 release page for <U>widgets</U> that they are are considered “deprecated” and will be removed in a future release. &nbsp;What are we supposed to do with the significant number of integral widgets we have developed in our shop? &nbsp;And, how long will we have?</P><P>We developed these as there were no suitable alternatives in Qlik Sense. &nbsp; Frankly, that’s still largely the case. &nbsp;</P><P>Top navigation bars with sub menus, custom legends, horizontal line with text, vertical line for separating elements, legal “trademark wording” footers with data load date/feedback link on every page of every application, and many others. &nbsp;Virtually every one of our apps will have to be reformatted. &nbsp;The end result will have reduced functionality and diminished visual appeal. &nbsp;</P><P>Suggestions? &nbsp;</P> Sat, 16 Nov 2024 17:29:11 GMT rontillis 2024-11-16T17:29:11Z Widgets being deprecated???
