Expression not calculating when moving an app from Dev to Production, what's the problem?

Hej,

I have a Qlik Sense app.

We have Qlik Sense November 2017 enterprise version of Qlik Sense which is analysing Online Sales data.

The applicaton has a Sales expression which works in the TEST version.

When I move the app to Pre-Production, the Sales expression does not work.

These are the things I already checked:

The appropriate data is loaded in the pre-production environment database (to the best of my knowledge)
Tested by loading the data from the database into the Qlik Sense app. The Sales figures show
The Test and Pre-Production software versions are both the same
The extensions are the same

In the Dev environment when I load the exactly the same data as Pre-Production the app works and shows the values for Sales.

However as soon as the app is promoted to the Production environment, the Sales value is not calculated and returns a "-" even though it works in the Dev as proven.

What could be the issue?

The diff between env could be some parameters loaded apart from an excel file for example

Have you such variable or expression parameterized out qv in a file?

Hi Olivier and everyone,

In my app I have checked there are no other parameters being loaded that is turning a 0 or something to a "-".

Is there something in the Qlik Sense QMC that could be doing this?

We are using this environment in our organisation where other teams are also sharing the same environment.

Any section access might impact the results respectively the availablity of the included data - beside section access I suggest to check if there exists really data for this expression (just using a table with the included fields should be enough).
